The OIRB would like to wish the UNM community a joyous holiday season. In observance of Winter Break, the OIRB will be closed from December 23rd – January 1st. We will not be processing or reviewing protocols during this time. We will re-open on Thursday 1/2/2024. This is a very busy time of the year, and we have many submissions already in our queue. Please note the average time from submission to approval by the IRB is 30 days; expect this timeline to be a bit longer due to the holiday approaching and being closed for winter break.

The deadline to submit to have your IRB submission reviewed at the January full committee meeting is Monday 1/6/2025. Please email the IRB office at irbmaincampus@unm.edu with any questions.
