Changes related to CITI Human Research Protections Training
Researchers have brought to our attention issues where the CITI program prompts researchers to take the incorrect training. We have been working with CITI to resolve this glitch and as such, your CITI account may be affected. If you have questions about your CITI training, please reach out to us and we will be happy to assist.

NEW!!!! Mental Health Safety Plans in Human Research
A new guidance has been developed to address IRB requirements related to mental health safety plans in human research. This guidance should be used if your project collects information from participants that indicates the possibility of immediate harm to oneself or others. Additional resources, including the Albuquerque Guidelines for Handling Crisis Situation with Research Participants, developed as a collaboration between the Mind Research Network and UNMHSC, can also be found on our website in the IRB Library.
